Where I Call Home

What I call home is this place that's right outside of Trevor's parents house. Its in this barn type shed looking place. Before Trevor changed it into a house it was a pump house for their well they have out on there property. So Trevor had a clever idea one day into changing it into a room for two. Once Trevor picked me up from my drug treatment he told me he had a surprise which was the room he had made for us to live in until we find a job and can afford to live on our own. So the place I call home is the place he made for us to stay. Its warm, nice, very cozy, clean well sometimes, very organized. Its like a get away from life, trouble, and problems. Its better then nothing, and it means a lot to me that he would do something like that for me.

Where Would I Go Outside The United States

If I could go anywhere out of the U.S. I would have to go to Europe. Because there are a lot of historic stuff there, and plus I've never been out of Oregon before so I know that I would have a lot of fun and stories to bring back home. I know that it would be a dream if I went there because I love Germany and France from what I have read about. It seems like a place that I would be interested in going, and the same with Rome and Italy. There would be just so much stuff to do since I would be in a place I have never been before.

My Ideal Day

My ideal day would have to be Trevor and I, and some of my friends who have either a girlfriend/boyfriend, and we all go on a trip to the beach. We all spend four days at the beach but it would have to be on sunny days. I think that we would have fun, and a great time. Just relaxing with friends, and enjoying the nice weather and a delicious BBQ now that sounds like an ideal day for me.

My Most Embarrassing Moment

My embarrassing moment was when I was in the first grade. I was sitting next to my friend Chelsea, and I was drinking chocolate milk. This boy came up to us and said "hey, you want to hear a funny joke?" and we said "sure why not?" so he explains his joke to us and I start laughing. The chocolate milk comes right out my nose in front of all the people in the first grade class I was in. I felt so in embarrassed.

My second embarrassing moment was when I was with my boyfriend Trevor and he was riding his little brothers bike around his property. So when he was finished he wanted me to go off this ramp that he made. But little did he know I haven't rode a bike in like 3 or 4 years. So I get on his little brothers bike and start paddling. I get enough speed to get over the ramp and then right after I do that I crash right in front of him. I felt so dumb because I couldn't go over a little dumb ramp.

My Favorite Things About Fall

What I like about fall is that its not hot like summer is, there's more things to do. I like that its cold, and I also like how the leaves on the trees change colors I think its neat that trees do that. It also has my favorite holidays Thanksgiving and Halloween. I really don't like the fall because its raining all the time but when it doesn't I'm happy. Fall is kinda depressing to me now because my grandma had died so its not so great to me. Those are my things I like and dis like about fall season.

Addiction To Me Is

Addictions from what I have learned and think they are is that sometimes they can come from depression issues and also family problems. Sometimes they can also come from deaths in family or friends which ever one. Sometimes you can get pressured to do drugs or whatever. I think that addictions can come from different reasons, and addictions are different for everybody.

If I Lost Everything In A Disaster

If I had lost everything in a disaster I would hate to have to start over again. I know I would save my family. That would be the first thing. I would miss my clothes and shoes and whatever else was of value to me. I would really miss the family photos, but I wouldn't really care about anything else because that type of stuff is easy to get again. It's not like I lost my job or something..

Dedication Means In My Life

Dedication to me means that I'm going to have the drive and attiude to whatever in my life that I want to be and to become. Dedication is drive and I have that drive to become a Graphic Designer because I know that I have those skills that I need to become one.

The Job I Want In The Whole Wide World

If I could have a job in the whole wide world and it didn't matter it would have to be Graphic Designer. Because I love drawing out lay outs for shirts it's one of my favorite things that's what my career once I go to college that's what I'm going to major in. Because It's my passion in life to make shirts and designs for them as well.

What I Do In My Spare Time

In my spare time I just relax, and chat on the phone with my friends, and family. I watch TV if there's something on that I like. When there's nothing on TV I just listen to music, or take a nap if I'm tired enough. When I'm bored enough I look for work also.

Something Interesting About My Summer

My summer was fun. I did a lot of stuff I've done last summer. One thing that's different is that I decided to move out towards the end of summer to live with my boyfriend Trevor because of some issues with family. Its okay because I'm 18 and I can make my own choices since I'm an in adult now.

Someone Close

Kenzie Marie-Allen Jackson. Where to start? I met her from my cousin Deonna. They went to middle school together and they were best friends. We started getting to know each really well when I would go to her house all the time with my cousin. Then after awhile I was hanging out with my friend Greg Brown who knew her too. We were chilling one day downtown and we ended up bumping into Kenzie so we sat and chilled with her for awhile. Then Greg called his friend Matt and so Kenzie and I ended up dating them, and we grew a friendship from them, and we've been friends ever since. If it wasn't for us dating them we wouldn't have been close like we are to this day. So in the end I thank them for letting me meet a pretty funny girl who is like me in some ways.

5 Settings From The Book

She lives in the pink house in Tibron, South Carolina with 3 sisters, Rosaleen, and a boy named Zach. The year is 1969 during segregation. The house is surrounded by wild life, beautiful flowers, and trees, and especially bees. The house smells like honey since that's what there jobs are. The place is big and elegant.

Evaluation Questions From The Book

1) The best part about the book to me is the plot, because it takes you on a journey.

2) The worst part about the book to me is really nothing. I can't really find anything bad about it.

May's Personality

I think that May is a very sensitive person, because she seems to cry most of the time, and when she does she goes to the wailing wall to put notes in between the rocks for her emotions and feelings. When that doesn't help sometimes August has to calm her down by talking to her and giving her baths. May seems to feel for people and their needs like when Rosaleen had a cut on her forehead she seemed to let out tears for her, and also when Lily told her that they needed a place to stay for awhile May seemed to want them stay there. May's very different but that makes her unique and one in million.

What I Did Over The Weekend

What I did over the weekend was nothing. I just sat around and watched TV everyday. Yeah, I can say that I was lazy this weekend. I helped my mom around the house with some chores, but I was basically on my phone the whole time. I was supposed to go camping with my boyfriend's family but that didn't happen because he got in his step dad's face, but oh well I had fun I guess.

My Opinion On The Secret Life Of Bees

The book is very different then any others I've read. Its a type of book if I were to read it I wouldn't get glued to it, but if someone was reading it to me then I could concentrate. Its a pretty good book, but just not my style of book to read but I think that I could change my opinion once the book is finished.

Who's The Queen Bee

I would have to say that I think that it would have to be August, because she is the mother, and also runs the household, and takes care of her children, and also Lily, and Rosaleen. She runs the honey business, and also takes care May since May is different from June. August just seems to me that she is the Queen Bee.

What I learned About Honey Bees

I learned that honey bees choose there Queen Bee.

That the worker bees can't have sexual contact with the Queen since thats there mother. But the worker bees also cannot have sex with each other.

The Queen bee has to mate with a special male bee that dies afterwards.

Lilys Choices

Lily could of asked T. Ray to get her out or get a lawyer to help bail her out.
Lily could of calmed Rosaleen down and told the men to go away.
Lily could have told Rosaleen not to steal the fan, and to make her gave the fan back, and also told Rosaleen that its not worth getting in a fight with the men.

My Best Friend and I

When I first met Ashely in middle school I didn't think that we would be as close as we are now. Ashely and I became such close friends for the simple fact that we have the same things in common, besides boys. She always dresses to impress and same here. When we talk she's always talking about how boys treat her wrong for the simple fact that she always wears her heart on her sleeve and some of the boys she dates take advantage of that. She really cares about her friends and its cute. How I know that is because she is always saying "babe" to the ones that she really cares about. She's a very sweet girl, and I love the snot out of her, and I hope her and I will always be friends till the end of time.

Sentence Combining

The Governor of Arkansas, Orval Faubus, called The National Guard when a crisis erupted on Sept. 4th, so The National guard had to prevent African-American students from attending Little Rock High School.

When she was thirty she was pulled to writing again while living in Anderson, South Carolina. Sue and her husband taught a small class at a college about Art. Her first book was a spiritual book called Gods Joyful Surprise published by Harper San Francisco in 1988. Her second book When The Heart Waits was published by Harper San Francisco in 1990. In 1997 she began to write the novel The Secret Life Of Bees and worked on it for three and a half years. When it was published it sold 3.5 million copies. It became a modern classic and was put on the big screen. Long after that she began writing the novel The Mermaid Chair which was completed in 2004 and became published in the spring of 2005.

Today sue lives in Charleston, South Carolina with her dog lily and her husband Sandy.

Imaginative Story

It was in the middle of the night, and suddenly I remembered that I have to go to work in an hour. Then I realized I didn't have any gas in my car, and my cell phone is was dead because my charger was at my friends house. So I'm going to be in trouble at my job because now I'm going to get fired. My boss is rude and isn't going to buy my story, which isn't fair. I guess tomorrow I'm going to be looking for a new job since I am sure I lost this one.

Spud was my very first dog, and we had him when we lived out in the country. He was such a fun dog. I loved the snot out of him! He was the only dog that I know of that would let me ride on him as if he was a horse. He was like my dads other child. It was really sad when we had to give him away when we had to move into the city from the country. I will never forget that dog. He was so cute with his different colored fur, and his big blueish brown eyes. He was half border collie and something else that I can't remember. Even though I was young when we had him I still miss him.

20 Years To My Age...

Hello my name is Tiffany I'm currently 37. I have a career in the art field and have a family that I'm raising. I'm happily married I have 3 kids, and live in a nice neighborhood, and the house is pretty nice. I have three cars, two trucks, and a nice sports car. My family isn't that big because a lot of my family has past away. I stay home most of the time to take care of my family and kids so I do my job at home. I hang out with friends sometimes but that's if I can find time to find a good babysitter. My life is going good. I'm close to my sister and I visit her from time, to time. My nephew comes over to visit with his family at my house. We normally have dinner with them on the weekends and such. My family drinks most of the time, but normally when the family is together.

Super Power...

If I could have any power in the world I would want to hear people's thoughts because I could know what people think and what they keep to themselves. I would hear everything that I want to know and some stuff that would make me laugh. I could hear what people would say about me when they walk past me. I could know just about everything and more. I know that it would be awesome, but then pretty painful, so it would be awesome to a point. I would probably feel like God because he hears people's prayers, but instead of hearing prayers I would hear what people are saying to themselves.

What I believe in..

What I believe in is love because its a feeling that is so indescribable and its the best thing. But finding it would be hard. Its something that you can't find, it just happens when the time is right. Its a feeling of comfort with that someone and also feeling safe. Its so strong of a feeling that nothing bad would happen. Because you wouldn't want to lose that special someone nor your feelings. Even though parents think that we're to young to know what love is, we still do. Because they don't know how we're feeling nor understand our feelings inside with him or her.
When we're with that someone we get butterflies and that oh so happy feeling, wishing that it will never end nor fade away. Or even looking into their eyes and then they say they love you and you get this feeling where you think you are falling hard for them. Its love and then your eyes shut and kiss, and you feel that feeling that you want more. Just because what happened was so perfect.
Its just something that is going to happen in life whether are not you're wanting to commit. Because you could end up finding it maybe not in this day in age but later on when you get older. I know from experience that I wasn't really looking for it but I ended up finding it with that right guy that treated me with respect. He was so trustworthy and loyal that I was really falling hard for him. Everything about him was what I wanted and he was so perfect.
But it ended I was so crushed that I didn't know what to do. All I wanted to do was to not let him go, but I needed to do it for respect of him. He wasn't ready to commit and I needed to respect that. I know that it was just best to be friends. He was my first love and crush, and I do know what's meant to be will always find its way.
