When she was thirty she was pulled to writing again while living in Anderson, South Carolina. Sue and her husband taught a small class at a college about Art. Her first book was a spiritual book called Gods Joyful Surprise published by Harper San Francisco in 1988. Her second book When The Heart Waits was published by Harper San Francisco in 1990.
